Many young adults in Latin America desire to serve LDS missions but cannot afford the items needed to prepare. Cause for Hope – One Life at a Time students can qualify for clothes, shoes, luggage, dental and medical exams in preparation for their missions. They are enrolled in beginning English classes, given a basic vocabulary of words and phrases from which they can build in addition to other personal development skills which will aid them in the mission field. More importantly because they were enrolled prior to their missions, we can track them and upon completion of their missionary service, enroll them into further education and mentoring opportunities. Thereby giving them options they likely will not have otherwise.
So far Cause for Hope – One Life at a Time has helped over 1350 students become full-time missionaries
